The fame that came with the success of Twilight has Robert Pattinson wishing he could disappear. The British actor has reportedly admitted he wants to lead a normal life again; a life without millions of screaming female fans.

“I can’t remember what my normal life is like,” Pattinson, 23, admits to Life and Style magazine. “Walking down the street comes with screaming [fans]. It’s strange. You have to change.”

“Even at the most remote places I can imagine, someone will ask me for a picture with them or an autograph. I haven’t found one place in the world yet where I could disappear,” he adds.

Sources say the media attention has forced Pattinson and his Twilight co-star and rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart to keep their relationship hidden. The couple feels keeping the romance out of the spotlight with help them have a more normal relationship.

Pattinson is currently filming the third Twilight installment, Eclipse, in Vancouver. The sequel, New Moon, is due in theaters November 20.
